LUX AESTIVA - Cruelty Free Beauty
Lux Aestiva Hair + Skin Nourishment
I'm always on the look out for #vegan friendly & Cruelty free products, especially Beauty ones and I recently came across Lux Aestiva Vegan hair treatments, which I've now been using for the past year, and I have to say I'm so pleased I did as I've been ecstatic with the results. My hair, even after one treatment feels a lot better (especially since being blonde makes it dry and hard to manage and spending a lot of time in salt water doesn't always help it). It really has bought life back to my hair & I don't need to use a leave in conditioner when I'm using Lux Aestiva.
I also use a few drops of this in my bath and even as a body oil, it's divine!
The products themselves feel very high end, and the packaging is gorgeous. I love caring them in my beauty bag, they are actually beautiful products.
Lux Aestiva are all organic and they also have a beautiful range of body oils, that I use in my daily routine for ultimate skin health, vitamin integration, to boost overall skin tone + texture. The Gypsy Oil especially replaces conventional cream moisturisers (I love using natural oils over moisturizers any day) and my favorite being the "Gypsy Oi - Rose Quartzl" which has a beautiful lux bronzed shimmer to it that gives your body the most gorgeous Dewey sun kissed glow. (I use this oil on shoots all the time).
I also adore their Bohème Crystals - Celestial / Bath Crystals. It makes for the most ethereal bathing experience with detoxifying salts + delicate petals. My weekly self induglent bliss is to bath with the Bohème Crystals, a few drops of the Babushka Oil and warm water. The Bohème Crystals + flowers make for a healing experience ans the fragrant salts draw out impurities + cleanse the body energetically whilst the oil helps keep your skin moisturized.
I really do spend a lot of time searching for new products that aren't tested on animals and aren't derived or made from animals, because to me that's the most important thing when I purchase or use a new product.
It's a really important part of my life. I don't want anything to suffer or be in pain because of my beauty regime. I find it hard to call most products on the market "beauty" products when what actually happens behind the scenes to the animals they test on, not to mention using actual animal parts to make them is so very far from anything "beautiful" in my book, and not something I'm personally ok with ignoring.
I like using products in my regime that are actually good for you, ethically sourced and as natural as possible, and I know how hard they are to come by.
I usually never find anything from my local shops that are cruelty free so I'm always searching online, reading reviews and trying to do as much research as possible even just to find them. So when I DO find something I really love that ticks all the boxes and is made by a company that are doing the right things like Lux Aestiva, it makes me really, super excited (cause there aren't many) and it's hard enough just being a girl.
I highly recommend them.
